Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; combined experience/education may substitute minimum education.
• 2 years Administrative or research experience.
• Working knowledge of MS Office applications.
• Knowledge of medical environment and terminology.
• Demonstrated effective communication and writing skills.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
• Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team as well as independently.
• Clinical documentation.
• Communicate with others to gather information.
• Understand and enforce regulatory guidelines.
• Use database and/or word processing software.
• HSR Training Certification (CITI Program) required.
• HIPAA/IRB familiarity and GCP training (CITI) preferred.
• AC RP (CCRC) certification viewed favorably.

Responsibilities

• Assists with organizing and scheduling assessments/tests/activities to meet research objectives.
• Communicates with study team personnel to ensure protocol compliance.
• Serves as contact for subjects, study personnel, IRB and sponsor.
• Assists in coordinating recruitment, screening, and orientation of participants.
• Schedules appointments and procedures, coordinating with external providers as needed.
• Produces reports and materials as directed.
• Maintains accurate, complete records including consent forms and regulatory docs.
• Assists with grant proposals and regulatory submissions to IRB.
