Job summary

The University of Oregon is seeking qualified instructors and lecturers to teach across PPPM graduate and undergraduate programs in areas such as community and regional planning, nonprofit management, public policy, and public administration.

We aim to build a local teaching pool for potential appointments and value candidates who can engage with students and colleagues from diverse backgrounds. A Master’s degree is required; PhD is preferred for some roles.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required; exceptional BA/BS with substantial professional experience may substitute for a degree.
• Terminal degree in relevant field for Lecturer role; teaching experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Teach graduate and undergraduate classes in community and regional planning, nonprofit management, public policy, or public administration.
• Contribute to development of course content and teaching materials; participate in curriculum planning.
• Establish a local teaching pool for potential appointments across related topics and collaborate with students, faculty, and staff.
