Job summary

University of Oregon invites applications for undergraduate studies pro tem instructor open pool. This open pool supports teaching in established programs such as Academic Residential Community (ARC) and First-Year Interest Group (FIG) seminars, and TAEC courses.

Opportunities may include undergraduate research and distinguished scholarships prep, in collaboration with CURE and ODS. The position requires a Master’s degree and two years of teaching or instructional design experience; a Ph.D.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant field is required.
• Two years of teaching or instructional design experience are required.
• In some cases, a bachelor's degree with substantial related experience may substitute for a master's degree.
• Ph.D. in a related field is preferred.
• One year of prior instructional experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses in established curricular programs such as ARC and FIG seminars.
• Involve students in learning strategies courses via TAEC, and undergraduate research and scholarships via CURE/ODS.
