Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a delivery driver to pick and deliver parts to pro customers, handle returns, and promote current promotions. You will build relationships with Pro customers, assist in upselling, maintain store cleanliness, and manage stocking and inventory tasks.

The role requires valid driver’s license, basic math and strong communication skills, and the ability to work varied shifts including weekends. Automotive parts experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Automotive parts experience preferred.
• Ability to read safety rules, operating instructions and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers and promote current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness (floors, bathrooms, dusting, parking lot).
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts.
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand needs and recommend parts or services.
• Other duties as assigned.
