Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a talented Stylist to engage guests, consult on hair care, and recommend services and products. The Stylist delivers quality professional services with an emphasis on the guest’s total look and supports the Experience Manager and Assistant Services Manager.

The role requires passion for the beauty industry, excellent guest service, and the ability to learn and share product knowledge. A Cosmetology license is required and prior salon experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Cosmetology license required.
• Previous salon experience preferred.
• Proficient in latest salon techniques.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform hair services including hair design, haircuts, color, texture, hair treatments, styling, updos, perms, blowouts, keratin treatments, extensions, makeup applications, and ear piercing (where applicable).
• Meet or exceed sales goals and productivity targets for hair services while delivering exceptional guest service and contributing to store goals.
• Demonstrate business acumen with understanding of business drivers and opportunities for growth.
• Perform product demonstrations with guests to drive sales and guest service experience.
