- Lead delivery of legal services through ICLS's pro bono program
- Oversee and direct pro bono projects, recruiting and training volunteers
- Supervise pro bono team including attorney and non-attorney staff
- Represent ICLS in pro bono initiatives and conferences
- Work with Community Engagement Team to recognize partners and volunteers
- Manage law firm and corporate partnership strategies
- Ensure compliance with grant requirements and oversight of programs
Requirements
- J.D. degree and licensed to practice law in California at hire
- Passion for expanding access to justice and serving low-income communities
- Experience practicing law and supervising attorneys
- Commitment to inclusive practices and cultural humility
- Experience developing strategic partnerships
- Ability to manage complex projects with minimal supervision
- Strong strategic thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills
- Effective ambassador for ICLS with stakeholders
- Strong writing, verbal communication, and public speaking skills
- Ability to recruit, train, mentor, and supervise staff and volunteers
- Experience with grants and working with funders preferred
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel occasionally
