Job summary

The Arizona Diamondbacks are seeking two Athletic Trainers to join our Sports Medicine and Performance Team. You will provide prevention, evaluation, treatment and rehabilitation for professional players within our development system.

Responsibilities include daily injury prevention, triage, immediate care, and maintaining medical records via EMR. You will collaborate with Strength & Conditioning, field staff and medical leadership, travel with the team and ensure MLB regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Athletic Training from a CAATE-accredited program.
NATABOC certification in good standing; CPR/AED for Professionals.
Ability to obtain and maintain state athletic training licensure in relevant states.
Strong communication skills and flexibility with travel.

Responsibilities

Provide daily injury prevention, triage, immediate care, evaluation and rehabilitation for assigned athletes.
Maintain medical records via electronic EMR systems in compliance with regulations.
Collaborate with Strength & Conditioning staff, field staff and medical leadership to optimize player availability.
Manage equipment and travel medical setup for home games and team travel.
Ensure compliance with MLB policies and licensure requirements.
