Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal Supply Chain Planning Specialist to join our GSC Planning, Requirements & Delivery organization, onsite in Sykesville, MD with a possible hybrid option.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree with 5+ years in supply chain, contracts, or related fields (or a Master's with 3+ years), strong Excel and SAP skills, US citizenship, and the ability to obtain a Government Secret Clearance. Competitive benefits and salary ranges are provided.

• Analyze lead times and identify critical path procurements.
• Monitor supplier capacity and production issues.

Northrop Grumman Missions Systems is currently hiring a Principal Supply Chain Planning Specialist to join our team of qualified, diverse, individuals in the GSC Planning, Requirements & Delivery organization.

This position will be located onsite in Sykesville, MD. It is supporting the Power and Control Systems Operating Unit, part of the Multidomain Sensing, Targeting and Survivability (MSTS) Division.

This position will be onsite with consideration for a hybrid option.

Responsibilities

• Manage ontime req release, PO placements, and PO delivery dates to maintain program schedule.
• Manage material budget for contract requirements.
• Supporting baselining/EVMS requirements.
• Manage/report and forecast material cost/performance of assigned program(s) (Cognos, CMEs, IPRS)
• Identify and manage program risks and opportunities as they pertain to material requirements.
• Analyzes lead times and identifies critical path procurements.
• Monitor and address supplier capacity and/or production issues.
• Maintain strong business acumen and ability to operate in a fast-paced production environment that consists of leading-edge technology suppliers.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain, contracts, business and/or related field OR Master's degree and minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain, contracts, business and/or related field.
• Experience in MS Office Suite, particularly in MS Excel.
• SAP experience
• U.S. Citizenship
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Government Secret Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in Supply Chain, Business or Operations, or Financial Planning.
• Experience in Earned Value Management Systems
• Control Account Manager (CAM) certification
• Experience in Federal and Defense contracting requirements including ITAR, DOS licenses, FAR and DFARS.

Primary Level Salary Range: $89,900.00 - $134,900.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
