Job summary

Vertis Therapy seeks a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for weekend coverage at Dukes Memorial Hospital in Peru, Indiana. The PTA will work under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to support patient mobility, safety, and independence in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in PTA from an accredited program.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to improve mobility and independence.
• Complete timely and accurate documentation in the EMR.
• Collaborate with the PT and interdisciplinary team on patient progress.
• Lead or participate in team development and wellness programs.
