Job summary

Carle Health in Olney, Illinois is seeking a BE/BC Pediatrician to join our team as a PRN Pediatric Hospitalist at Carle Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney, Illinois.

The role combines pediatric hospitalist duties with Level II nursery coverage; two weekends per month (Friday evening through Monday morning); 20-minute on-call; $5,000 per weekend plus travel reimbursement; PSLF eligibility in a not-for-profit setting.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or eligible pediatrician with BE/BC credentials.
• Procedural experience including neonatal intubation and line placement.
• Experience with newborn nursery care and pediatric inpatient consultations.
• Willingness to provide PRN weekend coverage with on-call responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide newborn nursery care and pediatric inpatient consultations as needed.
• Cover two weekends per month, Friday evening through Monday morning.
• Maintain a 20-minute on-call response time.
• Collaborate with subspecialty consults and transfer services.
