A prominent healthcare organization in LaGrange, Georgia is seeking a qualified Ultrasound Technologist to operate vascular ultrasound equipment and deliver exceptional patient care. Responsibilities include performing diagnostic scans, analyzing data, and assisting in training staff. The ideal candidate must be a graduate from an accredited ultrasound program, hold a current registry certificate, and have at least two years of ultrasound experience, including vascular technology. This is a PRN role with flexible hours.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited school of ultrasound technology, vascular technology or cardiovascular program.
Two years of ultrasound experience with at least one in vascular technology.
Current registry certificate (ARDMS or CCI required).
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
Responsibilities
Operate vascular US equipment for diagnostic procedures.
Communicate procedures to patients and families.
Assess patient’s vascular status and perform appropriate examinations.
Provide preliminary reports to physicians.
