Job summary

A prominent healthcare organization in LaGrange, Georgia is seeking a qualified Ultrasound Technologist to operate vascular ultrasound equipment and deliver exceptional patient care. Responsibilities include performing diagnostic scans, analyzing data, and assisting in training staff. The ideal candidate must be a graduate from an accredited ultrasound program, hold a current registry certificate, and have at least two years of ultrasound experience, including vascular technology. This is a PRN role with flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of ultrasound technology, vascular technology or cardiovascular program.
• Two years of ultrasound experience with at least one in vascular technology.
• Current registry certificate (ARDMS or CCI required).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Operate vascular US equipment for diagnostic procedures.
• Communicate procedures to patients and families.
• Assess patient’s vascular status and perform appropriate examinations.
• Provide preliminary reports to physicians.
