Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
• ARDMS registry required.
• BLS required.
• 1 year of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of imaging procedures ordered by the physician.
• Maintain responsibility for day-to-day activities to ensure the delivery of quality patient care in a diagnostic/therapeutic environment.
• Demonstrate the ability to perform surgery and portable exams.
• Accurately follow physician orders, document the exam in the system in Meditech, scan and verify images in PACS.
• Follow proper procedures for quality controls and patient safety related to equipment and accessories.
