Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
• RVT and/or ARDMS (AB) and/or OB/GYN certification required.
• State licensure as required.
• Current BLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of ultrasound procedures in accordance with physician orders.
• Ensure proper patient positioning, image acquisition, and quality assurance.
• Provide clear instructions and compassionate care to patients throughout the exam.
• Collaborate effectively with radiologists and technologists.

Skills

PRN Ultrasound Technologist for as‑needed shift coverage

• Center hours of operation: Monday‑Friday: 6:30am – 6:30pm
• Ideally would like consistent availability for Wednesday's 7am-6:30pm
• Flexible + as‑needed staffing coverage availability

Position Summary

The Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for performing high‑quality diagnostic ultrasound procedures in a fast‑paced outpatient imaging environment. This role ensures patient safety, comfort, and accurate imaging while delivering an exceptional patient experience.

• Perform a variety of ultrasound procedures (e.g., general, vascular, OB/GYN as applicable) in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
• Ensure proper patient positioning, image acquisition, and quality assurance
• Provide clear instructions and compassionate care to patients throughout the exam
• Recognize and document anatomical, pathological, and technical factors to produce high‑quality images
• Verify patient information, orders, and documentation for accuracy
• Maintain ultrasound equipment and report any issues promptly
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and HIPAA regulations
• Collaborate effectively with radiologists, technologists, and front office staff
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and work areas
