Job summary

Baptist Health - Central Alabama is seeking an Ultrasonographer Student to assist a registered ultrasonographer in performing ultrasound exams and preparing patients. The role includes screening patients, transporting them, and maintaining exam rooms.

Responsibilities include assisting in ultrasound procedures and completing required worksheets, with additional duties as assigned within the scope of the role. BLS certification is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be a student currently enrolled in an accredited Ultrasound Program.
• Must have Sonographic Principles and Instrumentation for ARDMS.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for exams and screen for procedures.
• Transport patients and stock exam rooms.
• Complete exam worksheets and assist in ultrasound exams.
• Assist the registered Ultrasonographer in exam completion and procedures.
