Qualifikationen

• Current ARDMS registration (multipl e modalities).
• Knowledge of general anatomy, physiology and medical terminology.
• Current BLS certification or ability to obtain within 2 months of hire.
• Two years of experience preferred.
• Excellent organizational, communication and teamwork skills.
• Maintains confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
• Proficient with computer systems and ability to learn new software as needed.

Aufgaben

• Performs general diagnostic ultrasound and vascular exams and assists physicians with specialty exams.
• Selects appropriate equipment for ultrasound setup and follows exam specifications.
• Explains tests to patients and assists with positioning and informed consent.
• Enters data into ultrasound equipment and transmits results to the PACS system.
• Discusses findings with Radiologist and communicates reports to referring physicians.
• Rotates on-call, weeknights, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Maintains patient logs and adheres to infection control and safety measures.
