Qualifications

• MSN required for clinicals/labs.
• Minimum 2 years’ recent Critical Care/Complex Care nursing experience.
• Active, current, multi-state RN license.
• Must pass a drug test and competency testing.
• Excellent communication and ability to build positive relationships with students.

Responsibilities

• Reinforce didactic content and teach knowledge/skills for pre-licensure nursing.
• Collaborate with content area faculty for evaluation and documentation of student progress toward objectives.
• Participate in grading written and clinical performance check-offs.
• Remain current with trends in nursing practice and accreditation requirements.
• Travel to GCU student sites to observe student performance and support labs/clinical rotations.
• Support the University's mission and Doctrinal Statement in interactions with students.
