Job summary

Institute of Diagnostic Imaging in Fort Walton Beach, FL seeks a Radiology Tech Assistant to support our imaging team and ensure a smooth patient flow. You will help with patient care, prep rooms, and daily center needs in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

The role is PRN with variable shifts (Mon-Fri 8:00 AM–4:30 PM coverage) and requires a high school diploma, BLS within 30 days, and at least 1 year as a trained Phlebotomist or Medical Assistant.

Qualifications

• One year of trained Phlebotomist and/or Medical Assistant experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assist radiology technologists with patient care and room preparation.
• Help move patients through appointments and support the imaging team.
• Ensure rooms and supplies are ready for daily operations.
• Provide friendly, patient-centered service in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

Position Summary:

As a Radiology Tech Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting our imaging team and creating a positive experience for every patient. You’ll help keep patients moving smoothly through their appointments, assist technologists with patient care and daily center needs, and help ensure rooms and supplies are ready for the day. This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced outpatient imaging environment, providing excellent customer service, and being part of a collaborative team.

Job Details:

• Position Status: PRN
• Schedule: As needed for staffing coverage
• Department Hours: Shifts available Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• Location: Outpatient Imaging Center in Fort Walton Beach, FL

Requirements

Experience:

• One year as a trained Phlebotomist and/or Medical Assistant experience required.

Education:

License/Certification Requirements:

• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
