You will work under the direction of the operating surgeon, assisting during procedures to ensure safety and efficiency. Responsibilities include preparing patients and assist in surgeries as directed. Ideal candidates will have a CAAHEP-accredited education and relevant certifications such as CSFA and BLS. Qualifications

• Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited program in surgical assisting and hold the CSFA credential.
• BLS certification required.
• One year of experience in an operating room setting, preferably in an ambulatory surgery center.

Responsibilities

• Assist the surgeon as first/second assistant during operations.
• Communicate with the surgeon to ascertain specific needs before the case.
• Ensure compliance with ASA standards during the procedure.
