Qualifications
Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited program in surgical assisting and hold the CSFA credential.
BLS certification required.
One year of experience in an operating room setting, preferably in an ambulatory surgery center.
Responsibilities
Assist the surgeon as first/second assistant during operations.
Communicate with the surgeon to ascertain specific needs before the case.
Ensure compliance with ASA standards during the procedure.
