Job summary

Westgate Health & Rehab in West Palm Beach, FL is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (PRN) to assess and treat residents referred by physicians, developing individualized therapy programs. The successful candidate will provide therapy as ordered, monitor progress, document responses, and communicate with physicians.

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Certificate of Clinical Competency or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year.
• Current state licensure.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates residents/patients referred by physicians and develops a treatment program with goals.
• Provides treatment as ordered and reviews progress with the physician.
• Contacts the physician for reports and care; observes, records, and reports reactions to therapy.
• Instructs and supervises residents/patients and family/caregivers regarding therapy procedures.
