Continuum Rehab Group in New Mexico seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive disorders in skilled nursing facilities. You will develop and implement plans of care, monitor progress, and document outcomes to improve communication and swallowing safety.
You will collaborate with occupational and physical therapists, physicians, and the healthcare team to deliver comprehensive rehab services and ensure quality patient care

Responsible for evaluation and treatment of patients with deficits within the covered scope of an SLP. Evaluation and treatment are focused on increasing intelligibility of speech, using alternative or augmentative devices to facilitate better communication of wants and needs, addressing cognitive functions, and receptive-expressive language,
and improving swallowing safety through oral exercises and diet texture modification.
