Job summary

A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) employed with ProHealth Home Health will administer speech therapy to patients in their homes on a PRN, part-time basis in the Dallas area, under physician orders and the supervision of clinical leadership.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Speech Language Pathology, licensure as an SLP in the state, and demonstrates the required practicum and examination credentials; 2 years experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Speech Language Pathology.
• State licensure as an SLP is required.
• Completion of 350 clock hours of supervised practicum and 9 months of supervised experience, plus a national exam.

Responsibilities

• Improve or maximize patient communication.
• Return patient to optimum and productive living.
• Participate in patient care planning with home health team.
• Provide full-scope Speech Language Pathology services as ordered by physician.
• Document progress and communicate with physicians.
