Job summary

NHC HomeCare Panama City is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. The SLP supervises and participates in the application of therapeutic techniques for the rehabilitation of patients with speech and language disorders, hearing disorders, and oral myofunctional disorders.

The role requires a master’s degree, CCC-SLP or CFY eligibility, and state licensure, with PRN hours and responsibilities including directing the Communication Disorders Service and providing evaluations

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech Pathology from an approved program.
• CCC-SLP certification or CFY eligibility.
• State licensure in the work state(s).

Responsibilities

• Directs and supervises the Communications Disorders Service Department.
• Provides evaluations and therapy as ordered by the referring physician and contributes to treatment planning.
• Develops and implements therapy programs with goals and periodic re-evaluations.
• Participates in in-service training for HomeCare personnel.
