Qualifications

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred.
VitalStim certification preferred.
Responsibilities
Evaluate patients and develop treatment plans for communication and swallowing disorders.
Document treatment sessions and coordinate care with healthcare team.
Provide patient education related to speech-language needs.
Skills
Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathology related to speech, language, and swallowing
Proficient in assessment tools and therapy materials
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to function independently and collaboratively
Strong organizational and time management skills
Familiarity with ASHA and state practice standards
Education
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
