Qualifications

• Completion of a master’s degree in speech-language pathology and one-year experience completed with CCC from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, and state licensure is required.
• Experience in treatment of neurologically related physical disorders in community-based settings is strongly preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license and responsible driving behaviors must be maintained.
• Ability to lift 50lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide treatment and evaluations of residents with speech, language, cognitive, linguistic and swallowing disorders due to acquired brain injury.
• Develop strategies for memory, language expression, speech production, pragmatics, comprehension, problem solving and swallowing disorders.
