Job summary

Western Home Communities is seeking a PRN Speech Language Pathologist to join our Cedar Falls Main Campus therapy team. This role offers cross-setting experience across outpatient, skilled nursing, and long-term care, with a focus on functional, measurable outcomes for our clients.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology with Iowa licensure eligibility and strong communication and leadership abilities, in a collaborative team environment with competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Valid license or eligible for licensure to practice Speech-Language Pathology in Iowa.
• High level communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Effective leadership and customer relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Participates directly in the evaluation, care plan development and delivery of treatment interventions and services related to swallowing disorders, dysphagia, and communication disorders.
• Provides direct patient care to primarily adult and geriatric patients.
• Provides screenings and evaluations to determine requirements for skilled speech therapy intervention relative to patient’s prior level of function.
