HCA Healthcare's Medical City Frisco is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist PRN to join a collaborative rehabilitation team. You will evaluate and treat patients with communication, cognitive and swallowing challenges, applying evidence-based care in a well-resourced, patient‑centered environment.

Documentation, progressing notes and discharge summaries will be part of daily duties, along with educating patients and families.

Formación

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required within 30 days of start date.
• Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) credential.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluating communication, cognitive, and swallowing abilities using structured assessments and observations.
• Developing and adjusting individualized treatment plans for communication and swallowing goals.
• Documenting evaluations, daily notes, progress updates, and discharge summaries accurately.
• Educating patients and families on goals, safety, home strategies, and expected progress.
• Collaborating with physicians, nursing, rehabilitation staff, and care managers for coordinated care.
