Job summary

SSM Health St. Anthony Healthplex in Oklahoma is seeking a registered sonographer to perform diagnostic ultrasound exams and provide high-quality images for interpretation.

The position requires ARDMS or equivalent credentials and a BLS HCP certification, with PRN/per diem scheduling. The role involves set-up of equipment, safety and quality control, image submission to PACS, and maintaining a clean department while complying with regulations.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Sonography program.
• No experience required.
• RDMS AB OR OB/GYN OR RVS OR RVT with BLS HCP.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and adjusts ultrasound equipment and manually maneuvers transducers to perform exams.
• Implements safety standards and performs quality control procedures.
• Performs routine and complex studies and assists in imaging procedures.
• Recognizes structures, artifacts, pathology and equipment limitations.
• Ensures equipment is functioning and reports issues to appropriate personnel.
• Submits high-quality images to PACS with correct labeling and patient data/history.
• Maintains a clean, orderly department and compliant with regulatory agencies.
