Job summary

Animal Clinic of Benicia is seeking a PRN Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team. The role focuses on delivering high-quality veterinary care, anesthesia, and dental procedures while supporting hospital operations.

Qualifications

• Must have California Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) license in good standing.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical anesthesia and surgical experience with focus on dentistry.
• Ability to independently prepare, induce, monitor, and recover patients for dental and surgical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care by determining animal requirements, examinations, diagnostics, and records.
• Assist during surgery and operations; provide nursing care and animal handling.
• Administer medications, vaccines, and manage dental procedures and fillings.
• Maintain medical records and communicate with pet owners as directed by the veterinarian.
• Maintain sterile environment and proper sanitation of instruments and work areas.
