Job summary

St. Louis Eye Surgery & Laser Center in Des Peres, MO seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to support Pre/Post-Op care. You will assess, plan, implement and document nursing care, maintaining HIPAA compliance and the highest standards in an ASC environment.

The role requires MO RN licensure, BLS, and a BSN is preferred. ACLS is a plus, with 1+ year of relevant experience. Hours are PRN (1–2 days/week) with early/late shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• Current RN license in MO required.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification preferred.
• At least one year of nursing experience preferred.
• Experience in surgical/ASC/Pre/Post-Op/PACU/OR settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct patient care in an Operating Room.
• Ensure adherence to standards of practice and HIPAA.
• Maintain accurate patient records and participate in continuing education.
• Coordinate care and communicate with team to ensure quality service.
• Assist in training new staff and balance team responsibilities.
