Job summary

McIver Clinic in Jacksonville seeks a dependable, compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team on a PRN basis. The ideal candidate provides patient-focused care, demonstrates clinical judgment, and upholds infection-control standards in a multidisciplinary setting.

The role involves direct patient care in the clinic and operating room as a circulating RN, with a schedule that is flexible Monday–Thursday; no weekends, holidays, or on-call requirements.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in good standing.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Operating Room Circulator experience of 1 year.
• Urology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in clinic and operating room settings.
• Serve as circulating RN during surgical procedures and perioperative care.
• Administer IVs, obtain vitals, and collect specimens.
• Review patient records and ensure accurate documentation.
• Communicate with patients, physicians, and staff to support safe flow.
• Maintain OR and clinic environment, supplies, and infection-control standards.
• Educate patients before, during, and after procedures.
• Monitor patient condition and relay changes to providers.
• Collaborate with anesthesia, surgical staff, and departments for quality care.
• Maintain a professional, compassionate, patient-centered environment.
