Job summary

GameDay Men's Health in Harrisburg, PA is seeking an experienced RN to join our wellness team as a Nurse Injector & IV Therapy Nurse. The ideal candidate enjoys aesthetics, IV therapies, and men’s health in a modern clinic setting.

The role offers a PRN schedule with potential growth, a focus on patient relationships, and opportunities to expand our IV and aesthetics programs. PA RN license and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted Pennsylvania RN license.
• Strong peripheral IV insertion skills.
• Current BLS certification.
• Excellent communication and patient-care skills.
• Ability to work independently while following medical protocols.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced outpatient environment.
• Aesthetic injection experience preferred.
• Neurotoxin and dermal filler training preferred.
• Experience with IV hydration, wellness, hormone optimization, or men's health is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform peripheral IV starts and administer IV hydration and wellness therapies per provider orders and clinic protocols.
• Perform IM and subcutaneous injections as ordered.
• Provide cosmetic injectable treatments (neurotoxins, dermal fillers) within PA scope and under supervision.
• Assess patients and review medical history, contraindications.
• Educate patients on treatments, aftercare, and follow-up.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in the EMR.
• Follow infection control, HIPAA, and patient-safety procedures.
• Recognize potential complications and follow escalation protocols.
• Help create an exceptional patient experience and build long-term relationships.
• Assist with development of IV therapy and aesthetics programs.

Responsibilities

• Perform peripheral IV starts and administer IV hydration and wellness therapies in accordance with provider orders and clinic protocols
• Perform IM and subcutaneous injections as ordered
• Provide cosmetic injectable treatments, including neurotoxins and dermal fillers, within Pennsylvania scope-of-practice requirements and under appropriate medical oversight
• Conduct patient assessments related to treatments and review contraindications and relevant medical history
• Educate patients regarding treatments, expected outcomes, aftercare, and follow-up
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in the EMR
• Follow medication handling, infection control, HIPAA, and patient-safety procedures
• Recognize potential complications and follow established emergency and escalation protocols
• Help create an exceptional patient experience and build long-term patient relationships
• Assist with the continued development of our IV therapy and aesthetics programs

Experience as a nurse injector is preferred, but we are willing to consider an experienced RN with excellent IV skills who has a strong interest in aesthetics and is willing to complete appropriate injector training.
