Job summary

Holy Cross Hospital Jordan Valley seeks an RN Lactation Consultant to assess and manage breastfeeding mothers and neonates, providing direct patient care and education. You will support associates, share lactation knowledge, and act as a subject matter expert within a complex healthcare setting.

Required: BSN, RN license, 3+ years nursing, IBCLC/CLC certification. This is a PRN role with shifts totaling 12-24 hours per pay period, offering opportunities to contribute to OB, NICU, and PEDS units

Qualifications

• RN with BSN and active nursing license
• 3+ years nursing experience
• IBCLC or CLC certification is required

Responsibilities

• Assess lactating patients and babies and manage lactation plans
• Provide direct patient care and education to families
• Update policies and guidelines for breastfeeding care
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop care plans
• Document assessments, outcomes, and plans of care
