Job summary

IV Nutrition Round Rock seeks an RN to provide dependable clinical coverage in an outpatient wellness setting. You will insert peripheral IVs, administer IV therapies, monitor patients, and ensure safe, compassionate care with strong client communication.

Full or partial shifts are possible; hours align with clinic needs. Candidates should have Texas RN licensure, BLS, IV proficiency, and reliability for scheduling commitments.

Qualifications

• Active Texas RN license or valid multistate RN privilege authorizing Texas practice.
• Current BLS Provider certification.
• Demonstrated recent peripheral IV insertion proficiency and strong clinical assessment skills.
• Knowledge of infection prevention and safe medication administration; ability to respond to emergencies.
• Excellent communication, professional accountability, reliability, and commitment to shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments; review treatment orders, medical histories, allergies before treatment.
• Establish peripheral IV access and administer authorized IV therapies and injections.
• Monitor clients, recognize complications, communicate concerns, and initiate emergency procedures.
• Maintain infection-prevention standards and complete clinical documentation and aftercare education.
