Cleveland Clinic’s G81 ENT/Plastics & Internal Medicine Unit is an 8‑bed ENT/Plastics specialty stepdown unit and a 24‑bed internal medicine unit. Patients have a wide variety of acute and chronic medical conditions such as head and neck cancer, surgical flaps and grafts, renal failure, diabetes, hypertension, pneumonia, sepsis and complex multi‑system failure. Caregivers float to both sides, so you will have one foot in medicine and one foot in critical care.
A PRN caregiver in this position works varying shifts from 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM. PRN works a minimum of 64 hours every 6 weeks.
