Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's of Nursing required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2+ years PCU nursing experience in acute hospital setting required.
• RN license required.
• BLS required.
• TNCC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates critical thinking skills appropriate to patient’s level of care and documents health data systematically.
• Collects and documents patient health data and conducts ongoing assessments.
• Develops individualized, evidence-based plans of care and implements interventions safely and timely.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team and promotes timely patient placement by following hospital policy.
• Educates patients and families on health conditions, procedures, and care plans; promotes understanding and compliance.
• Maintains compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies; participates in quality and safety initiatives.
• Acts as patient advocate and ensures safe handoffs and use of supplies and equipment.
