VitalCore Health Strategies is seeking a Registered Nurse (PRN) to provide nursing care at the Berrien County Jail in St. Joseph, Michigan. The RN will deliver high-quality care within scope of practice, advocate for patients, and support best nursing practices in a correctional setting.

Responsibilities include administering medications, recording vital signs, coordinating with the healthcare team, and preparing patients for examinations. CPR certified RNs with Michigan licensure are preferred.

Qualificações

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in Michigan (or compact).
• Current CPR certification and knowledge of state practice acts.

Responsabilidades

• Administer medications and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Record patient data, vital signs, and medical information accurately.
• Coordinate with the healthcare team to assess and implement care plans.
• Prepare patients for examinations or treatments.
• Supervise less-experienced staff as needed.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests to assess conditions.
