Job summary

Erickson Senior Living's Riderwood Village in Silver Spring, MD seeks a PRN Registered Nurse (RN) to support Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing. You will build relationships with residents and families, deliver high-quality care, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to promote health and well-being.

Qualified candidates hold an active Maryland RN license and CPR, with at least 6 months of RN experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and EMR systems is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have an active RN license in Maryland.
• Minimum 6 months RN experience required.
• Experience caring for seniors preferred.
• CPR certification required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, internet and web applications.
• Experience with an electronic medical record is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with residents and families using a caregiver approach.
• Perform clinical duties per state nurse practice act and standards.
• Promote resident independence by setting care goals and educating families.
• Monitor residents' conditions and respond to changes for comfort and safety.
• Collaborate with care associates to deliver routine nursing care.
• Maintain infection prevention, administer medications, and perform treatments per orders.
• Coordinate holistic care plans with the interdisciplinary team.
• Document care in the resident's EMR in a timely, accurate manner.
