Job summary

Cardinal Health Innovative Delivery Solutions is seeking a highly motivated pharmacist for a company-owned retail contract pharmacy located at Forest Community Health Center. The PRN position offers up to 10 hours per week with pharmacy hours Mon–Thu 8:30 am–6:30 pm and Fri 8:30 am–5:00 pm; weekends are closed.

Responsibilities include dispensing medications, patient consults, and MTM services, with 340B compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail pharmacy required
• Immunization certification or willingness to become certified within 90 days
• 340B experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule
• Vendor credentialing may be required

Responsibilities

• Dispense medications under supervision and ensure safe, efficient delivery to customers
• Maintain open communication with customers and practitioners for consultations
• Supervise technicians and ensure proper preparation, labeling, and order entry
• Ensure pharmacy compliance with 340B contract pharmacy practices
• Provide professional consultation to patients and prescribers at partner facilities

Retail Pharmacist -Community Health Center:

Cardinal Health is looking for a highly motivated pharmacist to work in a company owned retail contract pharmacy. Our pharmacists play an important role in delivering medication and pharmaceutical care in communities that are most in need. This includes immunizations, patient consultation, medication therapy management, and management of high risk patients.

This position is located at Forest Community Health Center

Schedule: PRN offering up to 10 hours a week

Pharmacy Hours: Monday - Thursday 8:30 am to 6:30 pm, Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm

Closed Weekends

Responsibilities:

• Under the direct supervision of manager, this position is responsible for dispensing and ensuring safe and efficient delivery of medications to all customers.
• Maintains open communication and is available to customers and practitioner sites for consultation
• Participates in supervision of technical staff Ensure pharmacy is compliant with best practices for 340B contract pharmacies
• Provide professional consultation to both patients and prescribers of partner health facility
• Completes pharmacy operational requirements by organizing and directing technicians' work flow; verifying their preparation and labeling of pharmaceuticals; verifying order entries, charges, and inspections.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in pharmacy required, PharmD preferred
• Previous experience as a pharmacist in retail pharmacy is required
• Pharmacy license in good standing in the state of MI
• 2-4 years related pharmacy experience preferred
• Immunization Certification or willing to become a certified immunizer within 90 days of hire
• Ability to work a flexible schedule
• Interpersonal relations and customer service skills
• 340B experience preferred
• May require vendor credentialing

Anticipated hourly range:

$50.10 per hour - $71.70 per hour
