The successful candidate will perform assessments, administer therapies, and assist with airway management and ventilation in accordance with state and department standards.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (NBRC-CRT) Certified Respiratory Therapist
• (RRT/RCP-State) Respiratory Therapist/Practitioner

Responsibilities

• Perform and document patient assessments, including breath sounds and airway patency.
• Administer respiratory therapies: oxygen, aerosols, chest physiotherapy.
• Assist with artificial airway placement and manage ventilation.
• Monitor response and notify provider of issues.
• Assist with transport of ventilator-dependent patients.
• Respond to emergent situations ensuring airway integrity during resuscitation.
