Job summary

Continuum Rehab Group is seeking a healthcare assistant to work weekends in a skilled nursing environment. The role involves supporting therapy teams, sanitizing treatment spaces, and assisting with patient transport and telehealth sessions.

Requirements include previous healthcare experience (preferably in skilled nursing) and a high school diploma. You must be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and communicate effectively with the rehabilitation team.

Qualifications

• Previous Healthcare Experience, preferably in Skilled Nursing.
• Certified Nursing Assistant is a plus.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to work with a team where you will provide quality, compassionate care in a secure setting.
• Provides excellent patient care support under the direction of a licensed therapist.
• Follows patient care-related tasks as determined by the therapy team to assist the patient in achieving optimal goals.
• Must be able to communicate in both verbally and in writing to members of the rehabilitation team.
• Visual acuity to perceive patient reactions to treatment and to read instructions.
• Able to lift and carry equipment, supplies and materials up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

• Sanitizing and organizing therapy room and equipment.
• Attending meetings as assigned by Regional Manager.
• Assist with telehealth treatments.
• Filing, scanning, printing and other administrative duties.
• Assist therapist with resident transport and activities.
