St. Christopher's Hospital for Children in Philadelphia is seeking a PRN Registered Respiratory Therapist to deliver pediatric respiratory care and support a collaborative care team. This role offers flexible scheduling designed to balance professional and personal needs.

You will care for neonatal, pediatric, and adolescent patients, manage ventilation and airway therapies, and stay current with advanced respiratory care practices. This position is based on-site at St.

Qualifications

• 2 year/Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy or equivalent.
• PA Respiratory Therapist License required.
• BLS Certification required.
• NBRC Respiratory Therapist Registered (RRT) required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive respiratory care to neonatal, pediatric, and adolescent patients.
• Manage mechanical ventilation and advanced airway therapies.
• Administer oxygen therapy, specialty gases, and aerosolized medications.
• Perform arterial blood gas analyses and patient assessments.
• Deliver chest physiotherapy and other respiratory treatments.
• Respond to respiratory emergencies.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary care team to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Participate in ongoing education and maintain competencies.

Your Role

As a PRN Registered Respiratory Therapist, you'll provide comprehensive respiratory care while working alongside physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
