Job summary

St. Christopher's Hospital for Children in Philadelphia is seeking a PRN Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our pediatric care team.

Provide neonatal, pediatric, and adolescent respiratory care alongside physicians, nurses, and therapists, with flexible scheduling designed to fit your life. You will manage ventilation and airway therapies, administer oxygen and targeted therapies, perform ABG analysis, and participate in ongoing education to maintain clinical competencies.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy or equivalent education/experience.
• PA Respiratory Therapist License, NBRC RRT and BLS certifications required.
• Strong teamwork, communication and patient‑centered care for pediatrics.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care to neonatal, pediatric, and adolescent patients.
• Manage mechanical ventilation and advanced airway therapies.
• Administer oxygen therapy and aerosolized medications.
• Perform arterial blood gas analysis and patient assessments.
• Deliver chest physiotherapy and other respiratory treatments.
• Respond confidently to respiratory emergencies and collaborate with care team.
• Participate in ongoing education and maintain clinical competencies.

Your Role

As a PRN Registered Respiratory Therapist, you'll provide comprehensive respiratory care while working alongside physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
