University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital in Cleveland seeks a PRN Weekdays Pulmonary Function Respiratory Therapist to support newborn and pediatric patients in our Level 1 trauma center.

The role emphasizes providing respiratory care with minimal supervision, including mechanical ventilation, airway clearance, aerosol delivery, and specialized procedures within a collaborative interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical ventilation
• Medicated aerosol delivery
• Airway clearance therapy
• Patient monitoring
• Oxygen and humidity therapy
• Special procedures (CPR, specialty gases, bronchoscopy, transport, etc.)
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Complies with all policies and standards.

• Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients.

We currently offer an opportunity for a PRN Weekdays, Pulmonary Function Respiratory Therapist to support newborn and pediatric patients in our Level 1 trauma center in Cleveland.

A Brief Overview

The therapist is learning and incorporating the mission statement and standards of behavior of his/her hospital or care facility. This therapist performs basic competencies within orientation and provides satisfactory respiratory therapy with minimum supervision.
