Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA approved Respiratory Care Program is required.
• 1 year of Med/Surg or critical care experience is preferred.

• CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency may apply.

Responsibilities

• Patient Assessment/Plan of Care per protocol and age-specific needs.
• Education of patient and family on treatment plan and safety.
• Maintains bedside and ventilator alarms and patient safety during treatment.
• Communicates with physicians and staff regarding patient care issues.
• Performs treatment procedures within licensed scope and evaluates patient response.
