Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting required.
• Current RN licensure and compliance with state requirements to practice as an RN.
• BCLS certification and willingness to maintain clinical competencies.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in line with nursing process and policies.
• Perform thorough patient assessments and document findings; report changes promptly.
• Administer medications, monitor for side effects, and document delivery per standards.
• Assist physicians during procedures within documented competency and scope.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatment plans, and discharge care.
• Maintain infection control protocols to prevent healthcare-associated infections.
• Respond to medical emergencies and participate in CPR and code team activities as needed.
• Document care thoroughly in the medical record and support patient safety initiatives.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement and evaluate care plans.
