Job summary

lifekeyhealth is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse (RN) to provide skilled in-home care across assigned counties in Maryland. You will follow plans of care, perform assessments, administer treatments, and document care per agency policies.

This role requires independent work, strong clinical judgment, and clear communication with clients, families, and the care team. Flexible coverage supports staff absences and new admissions, with patients in Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Harford, Howard, and Prince

Qualifications

• Maryland RN license required
• Graduate of accredited nursing program
• Minimum 1 year nursing experience (home health/acute care/long-term care preferred)
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Reliable transportation and valid driver\'s license (auto insurance may be required)
• Current CPR certification
• Knowledge of home health regulations and documentation requirements
• Ability to pass criminal background check and drug screening as required by Maryland regulations and agency policy

Job description

The PRN Registered Nurse (RN) provides skilled nursing care to clients in their homes, following established plans of care and agency policies and procedures. This role requires the ability to work independently, possess strong clinical assessment skills, and effectively communicate with clients, families, and other members of the healthcare team. The PRN RN provides flexible coverage for staff absences, fluctuating patient needs, and new admissions. Clients may reside in any of the following service areas: Anne Arundel, Baltimore City, Baltimore, Harford, Howard, and Prince Georges Counties

Requirements

Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Maryland is required. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Minimum of one (1) year of recent clinical nursing experience, preferably in home health, acute care, or long-term care. Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills. Proficient in a variety of nursing skills and procedures. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license with current auto insurance may be required depending on the service area. Current CPR certification. Knowledge of home health regulations and documentation requirements is preferred. Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening as required by Maryland regulations and agency policy.
