Job summary

Summit Spine and Joint Centers (SSJC) in Myrtle Beach, SC is seeking a PRN, self-motivated Registered Nurse to join our growing spine and joint care network. The position supports SC clinics and will be available two to three days per week in our ASC, with hours from 8am to 5pm.

You will provide patient care using evidence-based guidelines, monitor symptoms, administer medications, document encounters, and educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in North Carolina (good standing).
• BLS, ALS/ACLS certification required.
• Familiarity with medical software and equipment.
• Strong rapport-building and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinic environment.

Responsibilities

• Manages care of assigned patients using evidence-based guidelines.
• Delivers patient care with appropriate resources, staff, supplies and equipment.
• Monitors changes in symptoms, administers medications, and documents encounters.
• Communicates with physicians or specialists regarding patient care.
• Educates patients about health maintenance and disease prevention.
• Educates on care plans and provides emotional support to patients and families.

Responsibilities:

• Effectively manages the care of assigned patients using knowledge, skills, judgment, and decision-making skills for the specific area and patient population.
• Delivers patient care utilizing standardized evidenced based guidelines of care and appropriate resources, including personnel, services, supplies and equipment.
• Monitorand report changes in patient symptoms or behavior, administer medications and document all encounters and progress notes.
• Communicate with collaborating physicians orspecialists regarding patientcare
• Educates patients about health maintenance and disease prevention
• Educates care plans, provides emotional support and advise to patients and their family members

Qualifications:

• Good standing RN License for the state of North Carolina without limitations
• BLS and ALS/ACLS Certified
