Qualifications

• Current and valid registration as a Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• Current state Dietitian licensure/certification, if required by state.
• One (1) year of work experience in a facility setting with clinical responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Provides quality nutritional care to patients including development, implementation and monitoring of Medical Nutrition Therapy.
• Collaborates with medical staff, clinical staff, patients, families and food service staff to implement nutrition care plans.
• Provides nutrition education to patients, families and food service staff.
• Serves as a nutrition resource to the multidisciplinary team.
• Perform nutrition assessments and re-assessments and document progress clearly.
• Develops and monitors enteral and/or parenteral nutrition regimens in coordination with pharmacy and medical staff.
