Job summary

Landmann-Jungman Memorial Hospital Avera invites a Radiology Technologist to join our team in Scotland. PRN coverage based on department needs; on-call rotation includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.

In this small department you will perform diagnostic imaging, ensure quality imaging and patient safety, and collaborate with providers to support patient care. Cross-training in CT is available; prior CT certification or experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program or currently enrolled.
• Must be eligible for ARRT certification.
• CT certification and/or experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures according to established protocols
• Ensure quality imaging and patient safety
• Prepare and position patients appropriately for exams
• Follow radiation safety and infection control standards
• Document procedures accurately in EHR/PACS
• Participate in CT training; cross-training is required and can be provided
• Collaborate with providers and staff to support patient care

Education

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program

Current enrollment in an accredited Radiologic Technology program

Eligible for ARRT certification

Preferred CT certification and/or experience
