Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital in Rochelle Park, NJ is seeking a Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) for PRN/Per Diem work. The role offers $43.00 per hour and a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

The technologist will prepare patients, position them for imaging, and operate radiographic, fluoroscopic, and CT equipment across department and portable settings. Qualifications include a minimum of two years as a Registered Radiologic Technologist, current state license as required, ARRT or CMRT certification, and BLS

Qualifications

• Minimum two years' experience as a Registered Radiologic Technologist.
• Current state license required where applicable.
• ARRT or CMRT certification held.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for diagnostic procedures and explain the process before scans.
• Properly position patients to capture accurate images.
• Operate radiologic equipment to produce cross-sectional images of bones, organs, and tissue.
• Process requisitions and schedule exams accurately and timely.
• Perform radiographic/fluoroscopic/CT exams on department and portable equipment.
• Explain procedures to patients and address questions about equipment or procedures.
